Unicity works with paylution, a third-party payment company also known as Hyperwallet Pay Portal. Distributors can either choose bank transfer as payment option for their commissions or receive their commissions via their personal paylution account from which they can transfer funds to their bank account or a Paylution Visa Prepaid Card (where available).
How Does Paylution Work?
1. Account Creation & Activation
- Your paylution account is activated once you have earned at least 20 EUR (at once or accumulated) and if you have not chosen bank transfer as a way to receive your commissions.
- You will receive an activation email with instructions to activate your account.
- If you don’t receive the email, you can request a new one via the Paylution website.
2. Receiving Payments
- Payments are credited to your Pay Portal account.
- You get an email notification each time funds arrive.
3. Accessing Your Money
Bank Transfer: Move funds from your Pay Portal to your local bank account.
- Transfers usually take 1–2 business days.
- If you transfer money from your Paylution (Hyperwallet) account to a bank account in Europe, there is typically a fee of $3.00 (or equivalent in local currency) per transfer for most European countries.
- Please confirm the exact fee within your Paylution Pay Portal during the transfer process, as some organizations or localized portals may have customized fee structures.
Paylution Visa Prepaid Card: Paylution offers a prepaid card, which is not a traditional credit card. The Hyperwallet (Paylution) Visa® Prepaid Card in Europe is issued in collaboration with Valitor hf., under license from Visa Europe Ltd., specifically for European customers. The card can be requested and used in many European countries, typically in Euros or British pounds.
- You can Instantly transfer funds to your prepaid card and use it anywhere Visa is accepted.
- Availability depends on your specific country. When you log in to your Pay Portal and the “Request Card” option is visible, it means the prepaid card is available for your location.
- Auto Transfer: Set up automatic transfers to your bank or card so you don’t have to log in each time.
4. Tracking & Managing
Log in to your Pay Portal to view payment history, download statements, and manage your transfer settings.
5. Costs and Fees
Paylution account: A monthly maintenance fee of $1.50 is charged as long as there are funds in your account.
Paylution Visa Prepaid Card: Requesting/activating your first Paylution prepaid Visa card in the EU is typically free of charge.
There is no maintenance service fee for your prepaid card in many European countries. To determine if a service fee applies to your Paylution card, and whether it is monthly, annual, or only under special conditions, check the fee schedule or cardholder agreement in your paylution pay portal.
A replacement card usually incurs a fee, commonly in the range of €10–€15.
- Withdrawing money from an ATM using your Paylution prepaid Visa card in the EU typically costs €2.00–€2.50 per withdrawal, but note that local ATM operators may charge their own extra fee in addition to the card issuer’s withdrawal fee. Always check your Pay Portal for the exact fee prior to making a withdrawal.
- Most Paylution card programs provide two free ATM balance inquiries per month, and then charge a fee of $0.25 (or the equivalent in local currency) for each additional ATM balance inquiry within the same month. Checking your balance online or via automated phone service is free.

6. How to Transfer or Convert Funds
Transferring to a Bank Account
- Log in to your Pay Portal.
- Click Transfer > Add New Transfer Method.
- Enter your bank details and select your country/currency.
- Choose one-time or auto transfer (for recurring payments).
- Confirm and submit. Funds usually arrive in 1–2 business days.
You can also move funds to your paypal account for free
Transferring to a Paylution Visa Prepaid Card:
- Request your card in the Pay Portal (if available in your country).
- Once received, activate it in your Pay Portal.
- Use the Prepaid Card tool to move funds instantly to your card.
7. Currency Conversion:
When transferring or spending in another currency, Paylution will show you the conversion rate and any fees before confirming the transaction.
